1. The previous rule 17.2 (Not go deeper than the right course, If a boat is in Lee) falls away without replacement.
2. The previous rule 18 – At Marks and obstacles was rewritten completely.

Hot debate – but is not generally understood the Weight reduction 3 kg.
The new look is how the website of the Finn-Team Germany.
Dr. Jens Ott, of the Texts created and Frank Westendorf (Programming) have done an excellent job.

dear friends finn,
surveying the new regulations by (weight reduction , tactic compass) lively discussions have arisen. Finn wants to be on the new minimum weight and the converted e-compass.
while the most expensive is the pendulum test, because few facilities for this should be available . ( There were exceptions focus on specific )
most affected by the pendulum test, the devotis, the focus of almost all at boot 2100 mm, and the several thousand !
as a technician I've made the effort and made appropriate calculations, the one hand, the weight reduction and allow the new taktickompass and the other would leave unchanged the old focus. I put the calculation formulas including parallel run sample calculation for.
[...]
points in each case indicates , that this proposal is the only one to necessarily examined by the IFA , must be approved and enshrined in the class-regulate !!!!

Hull weight by 3 kg lower. Can you just compass and / lead or take out ?
No !
1. The changes have a official measurer be removed.
2. The Finn has after removal of the compass and / or the balance weights new weighed and commuted will.
Rare exception:
If only the compass will be exchanged and the middle 1000 to 2110 mm Hull Datum Point vor dem (Rear bottom edge) was mounted, i.e.. was placed behind the center of gravity, need not be commuted.
Rule:
The compass was located in front of the daggerboard, i.e.. from the center of gravity, so that the boat is at the front has become easier and therefore must be shuttled.
