DSV's Bureau decided on initial nominations to DOSB

The Presidium of the German Sailing Federations (DSV) On 20. January unanimously, the German Olympic Sports Federation (DOSB) The following teams for nomination to the Olympic Sailing Competition 2012 propose:
- Simon Grotelüschen, Laser Standard
- Franziska Goltz, Laser Radial
- Toni Wilhelm, RS:X Men
- Of Moana, RS:X Women
- Tobias and Hannes Baumann Schadewaldt, 49he
- Robert and Frithjof Kleen Stanjek, Star boat
- Ferdinand Gerz and Patrick Follmann, 470he men
- Kathrin Kadelbach and Friederike Belcher, 470he women
In these disciplines are the requirements of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) satisfied for the respective nations launch site. The teams have all of the criteria agreed with the DOSB DSV Olympic qualification system for the Olympic Sailing Competition 2012 met and signed with the respective best points score after the DSV points system in their respective discipline.
The Bureau is possibly at a later date. Nominierungsorschläge in the disciplines of Women's Match Racing and Dinghy-Finn decide, conditions in which the nomination is not yet reached.
